- Anterior segment pathology with a special focus on cataract, glaucoma and intraocular inflammation.
- Special interest in microincisional glaucoma surgery and drainage implants.

- Three years as an adult emergency medicine resident, including one year as chief resident.
- Surgical trainer and medical consultant for the XEN implant (glaucoma) for the European Union, 2014–2015.
- Specialist physician at VERTE – Glaucoma Unit. 2015 to present.

- Collaborating investigator in several active glaucoma research projects.
- Attendee and speaker at various national and international courses and congresses (SEO, SEG, FacoElche, ASCRS, EGS, EVER).
- Author of national and international publications and communications on neuro-ophthalmology and glaucoma.
